LONG TERM GOALS
Establish:
- A comprehensive health care facility with both in/out patient services.
- A Christian church.
- A Kindergarten, a Primary and Secondary School.
- A Bible College.
- Capacity building for the local communities on foster family responsibilities to address the issue of the children orphaned out of the war.
- Offer community agricultural training for better farming methods.
- Sanitation and Hygiene promotion i.e. by sinking bore holes to get water.

TARGET AREA OF OPERATION
Aweil is situated south of South Darfur and has received a considerable number of returnees from both South Darfur and from Khartoum.
The main and most striking emergency needs and constraints for the returnees and resident population in the target Counties:
- Continuous influx of returnees, depleting local resources.
- Acute food shortage and malnutrition.
- Acute lack of potable water.
- Insufficient schools and health care facilities.
- High illiteracy level.
- The beneficiaries’ livelihood depends heavily on livestock. Frequent disease outbreaks have a devastating impact.
- Bad roads causing poor access to markets.
