THE LONG JOURNEY TOWARDS REALIZING THE DREAM.

The setting up of the clinic began in May 2007.This was not an easy task as building materials were not readily available. They were sourced from Kampala (Uganda), Nairobi (Kenya) and Khartoum (Sudan). A few were sourced locally from Aweil but the cost was triple or more. Having sourced materials from those places, the other challenge was transport. The labourers engaged were from Kenya as they possess the expertise which was another challenge. However the determination we had surpassed the challenges and finally the building was set up.

Fe Viva World Mission provided most of the finances towards the building and they graced the inauguration occasion which was held on November 2008. Government officials graced the occasion also. 

The clinic is now running though without necessary equipments. The government is providing drugs for common ailments like malaria and typhoid every three months. Our few staffs who are currently engaged on voluntary basis are offering treatment to the locals using the drugs.

We are still trusting God for equipments so that the clinic can be fully operational.
